Oregon is very green (for good reason) and the flowers are all beautiful.
These dahlias were growing in Michael's parents backyard.
These are more of the backyard flower boxes. The fencing is to keep the deer from clear cutting the flowers. Along the front of the house the deer took out an entire petunia border (apparently petunias are quite delicious).
Can you see the deer in the photo below? He just lounged in the backyard for hours one day. Earlier he brought his girlfriend to the delicious backyard flower buffet. They walked around the house munching flowers and bushes along the way.
This is the front of the house. The mail box is the original mailbox from the house that has since been replaced.
This star jasmine covered arch leads to the English inspired garden on the side of the house. Also a favorite eating spot for the local deer population.
Jenn's contribution to the backyard landscaping.
A giant sunflower from McMiniman's outside of Portland.
And finally Michael figuring out what he wants to be when he grows up.
A fire fighter?
Maybe an astronaut?
Or an architect?
It's good to know that when this finance thing is over he can fall back on any occupation that allows him to wear a hat.
