Cookbook Recommendation - Great Food Fast from the Kitchens of Martha Stewart Living


I received this cookbook from Mel as a hostess gift. I love it! I've been cooking from it all week. The recipes are simple and easy to follow and turn out pretty delicious. (And yes, I already got something on the cover.)

Sunday we had another couple over for dinner.

I made the mushroom tart pictured below. A tasty combination of mushrooms, caramelized onions, spinach, and feta cheese over puff pastry. Luckily there was one small piece left for lunch the next day.

The tart was accompanied by the warm goat cheese salad - just like a bistro, the goat cheese was crispy on the outside and soft and gooey on the inside.

Monday night, Greek salad topped with spicy grilled shrimp. (Something a little light after a big Sunday dinner.)

Tuesday night miso soup and cashew chicken.

And dinner tonight fajitas with the lime marinated flank steak.

To quote Martha - this cookbook is a good thing!
