But last week my old machine finally had its final 'blue screen of death' and I had to set up the new computer.
Luckily the IT staff was there to help. Beckham was right there with me from initial inspection of the equipment to final set-up.
The IT staff in UT had done a pretty good job of getting the machine work ready. And I did copy most of my files over last month - but there were still a few tense moments getting some last files off of the old machine. I didn't like the hard cut over, but it needed to be done.
Of course IT was quick to remind me that I need to be better at backing up my files!
